How To Use

Facial Cleansers: Use a small amount of water to make a rich scrub and exfoliate, use more water to achieve a thinner consistency to gently clean your face, or leave on to dry in the desired texture to use as a mask and draw out toxins and oils. For specific troublesome areas, or blemishes, use a small amount of water to make a rich paste and apply to wet skin. Leave on for about 5-10 minutes to use as poultice (herbal mask) about twice daily for persistent redness and troublesome areas. Wash off with warm water and follow immediately with an oil, butter or salve.

Face Oil Serums: After cleansing with one of our Face Care Powders, place 5-10 drops onto fingertips and massage together. Gently press oil onto clean and still moist face and neck. If applying to dry skin, mix with a few drops of pure or herbal water from Take a Breather steam in the palm of your hand before applying. If your skin is extra thirsty, use a little more. Listen to your skin, it will tell you how much it needs.

Take A Breather: Apply a few drops of any of Ora’s Face Oils to your face. Then place 1/4 cup of herbs into 4 cups of boiled hot water. Position your face over the water, cover the top of your head with a towel, like a canopy. Inhale and enjoy the steam for 5-15 minutes at a time. Be mindful this is hot water. When you are done you will feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and in better health.
