What It Does

Starting with Organic and Fair Trade Shea butter we really went for it with rosehip, apricot, castor, meadowfoam and our intense herbal infused oil too! We absolutely love this multipurpose butter because it is:

How To Use

Remember, this is a very rich butter. A little goes a long way! Apply as needed on hands, body, face and hair. For best results, to lock in moisture, apply to soft skin immediately after the shower. We scoop with a clean finger, warm and spread between hands and gently massage into skin allowing a few moments for absorption. When applying to completely dry skin, we like to blend a few drops of water in our hand to aid with absorption. For very dry skin, we also find it helpful to exfoliate in the shower and then immediately apply body butter after towel drying. To use as an aromatherapy base, carefully add a few drops of your fave and blend with a clean stir stick.

What a great product. Makes the dry skin feel wonderful. It has clean products which makes it a plus. A little goes a long way. If you use to much, you will feel greasy. I would buy this product again!

It really is a HEALING butter

So, far this is my favorite product. We also bought the baby salve to pair with the butter for our baby's eczema. I wish I had taken a before picture, but the pictures show the process of the healing. We are really happy with our daughters eczema clearing up. With that being said, you really have to be consistent with the application of the products, because otherwise the eczema will come back. Even though Ora's products aren't the CURE to our daughters eczema, I'll take it over using a steriod topical cream any day; it comes back with steroids too anyway! I like putting the butter throughout the day, and I leave the salve for after the shower.

My ultra healing body butter came with a sticker on it saying…please place in freezer overnight before opening. Does that mean freeze before opening the first time? Or freeze every time before use??

Hi Carol! Thank you for your patience in us replying to you. Because our body butter doesn't contain any emulsifiers when products are being shipped during warmer weather, the product can melt, thus causing some separation of the oils and shea butter. We recommend that you freeze it so everything can harden again and not be too soft and oily. I also get RLS symptoms from time to time and this is always my go-to. You just rub a thin layer behind the knee and on the calf muscles, wait about 20-30 minutes, and it should help with your symptoms.
